Despite a few colds and some folks escaping the Vancouver rain, 26 BDC Pensioners and guests enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Old Bavaria Haus Restaurant located in New Westminster, BC. The German themed restaurant provided an excellent meal comprising a salad, wiener or cordon bleu schnitzel and dessert. Paula Cruickshank, Sr. Vice President BC & North provided an update on BDC’s financial picture and activities. A few bottles of wine wereoffered as door prizes and “lucky” Danny King won the large giftbasket prize donated by John Taggart’s long-time financial advisers !!
