The Winnipeg Pensioners spring luncheon was held at The Winnipeg Squash and Racquet Club on May 23rd. Yumi Falk provided a presentation on an award that was made to her grandfather, regarding his struggles to secure the vote for people of Asian decent. It was noted that one particular pensioner has been absent from our luncheons for a number of years, but after some subtle persuasion from his fellow pensioners, Ken Sims showed up with such enthusiasm, that he just had to be in all the pictures
