On September 27th, fourteen budding oenophiles from the Lower Mainland enjoyed a wine tasting/tour and charcuterie at the Lulu Island Winery located in Richmond, BC. Lulu Island Winery produces many quality wines including red and white table wines, fruit wines and also several icewines. All are produced, aged and bottled on site, using only the best grapes from its own vineyards in the Okanagan and berries from the Fraser Valley. Its Pinot Gris Icewine was recently awarded a Gold Medal at the prestigious 2018 Los Angeles International Wine Competition.
